All households in Oshakati should have refuse bins. The refuse bins are obtained from the Oshakati Town Council at a cost of N$950.00 cash or can be purchased through monthly installments. Refuse bins can be obtained from the Public Health Department on 065-229500

Illegal Dumping: An Offence

Dumping at undesignated areas is termed Illegal Dumping & it's an offence

The first offence is penalised with N$150.00 fine

The second offence carries a fine of N$300.00

& and subsequent offences a criminal case will be lodged
